More speed = more business, so why aren’t firms using OCR?

Recent GrowCap research highlighted continued investment in front and middle office automation. A key driver is speed – “be first or lose business” was the mantra, especially in broker and vendor markets – yet many lenders are still doing half the job. They’re not really measuring process success (or competitive weakness) and remain document-heavy, relatively unaware of potential to digitise and automatically analyse incoming documents.
